Heaven's birds fly high

Eternity purrs welcome

to her newest child

the forget-me-nots are going to seed

the petal-peppered soil reflecting up to a sky that remembers their blue

drooping burnt stamens send pollen flares, and remind the sun how she teased each flower face up in the first place

and delicate green spiny clouds, drop seeds like rain into next seasons blooming sea
